Chillin' With My Main Man Tom

So,I told Tom that he and I don't spend time together like I think we should.You know . . . since he's my brother-in-law and all.He thought so too.I asked him what are some things he likes to do besides listen to jazz and he said he loves movies.So,we agreed on "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde." Tom said he likes films that are very dramatic and we both like horror/sci-fi movies so that worked out well.It should be a blast!

It Never Hurts To Have Extra "Matri-money"

This Weekend,I am going suit shopping for Daisy's wedding.She's getting married to Tom Buchanan,a man that I have known for quite a bit now.Tom was in my social club back when I attended Yale.The wedding should be nice.I'm looking forward to it.Right now,my pockets stand at about $20.I'm thinking about getting a black wool suit which should come up to around $16.Wool suits are usually about $15.85.That should leave me with enough money to satisfy my hunger for a loooooooooonnnnng time.

My New Model-T

Today, I just bought the coolest car! A Ford Model-T! So, I decided to take my cousin Daisy to a boxing match to watch Jack Dempsey and George Carpentier.Afterwards,I took her to the Cotton Club on 644 Lenox Avenue,on the corner of W.142nd St. Duke Ellington's orchestra was there to give us nothing but the absolute best of jazz.In my opinion,they're the best thing that's happened to the Cotton Club since they were hired in '27.She loved them.She and I both really enjoyed ourselves.
